Ecological Macroeconomics

The Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) recently convened a conference called Moving to an Ecological Economy...True Valuing of Biodiversity.

The following presentation by Brian Czech of the Centre for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy is a fascinating insight into the the way that macroeconomics affects biodiversity and challenges the current economic model, based on GDP, in preference for a new "steady-state" model.
